Corporate Information Technology
Corporate Information Technology supports the staff, departments, and programs that work every day to provide services to our members and community. Our team is responsible for the technology used across the Nation's operations, including computers, networks, communications, business systems, cybersecurity, user accounts, and other digital tools. We work with departments to keep technology secure, reliable, and available so staff can focus on serving the community. Our responsibility goes beyond providing technical support. We work to protect the Nation's information, strengthen cybersecurity, modernize our systems, improve how departments work together, and ensure our technology investments provide long-term value to the community. By maintaining a secure, dependable, and well-managed technology environment, Corporate Information Technology provides the foundation our staff and departments need to deliver programs and services to our members, families, Elders, youth, and future generations.
Community Information Technology
Community Information Technology helps ensure our members and families have opportunities to access, understand, and benefit from technology in an increasingly digital world. Our focus is on technology that directly supports the community. This includes improving access to digital services, supporting community technology initiatives, promoting digital literacy and online safety, and helping identify technology opportunities for our members, Elders, youth, and families. Our responsibility goes beyond providing technology. We want to help reduce digital barriers, build confidence and skills, and ensure our members have opportunities to participate in education, employment, training, communication, and other online services. By investing in community technology and digital knowledge, we are helping build greater independence, create new opportunities, and ensure our community is prepared for the future while continuing to respect the values and needs of our Nation.
